Announcement: Freeman Awards for Study in Asia (Freeman-ASIA)
Freeman-ASIA accepts applications from U.S. citizens or permanent residents who demonstrate financial need to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia.
The Institute of International Education (IIE) is pleased to announce that the competition for the Freeman-ASIA Awards for Undergraduate Study in East and Southeast Asia for Spring 2018 / Calendar Year 2018 is now open. Freeman-ASIA offers scholarships of up to $7,000 for U.S.-based undergraduates with demonstrated financial need who plan to study abroad in one of 15 countries.The student application deadline is October 18, 2017 and the adviser certification deadline is October 25, 2017.
Applications and certifications must be submitted by 5:00 pm Eastern time on the day of the deadline.
